Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1] a) Battery b)Starter c) Ignition coil d) Breaker e) Distributor f) Juction block g) Sealed beam h) Generator i) Ammeter j) Current and voltage regulator k) Foot selector switch l) Fuse

2] Battery - Battery is energy storage device , which convert chemcial energy into electrical energy. In this circuit battery provide the energy to the system .

Generator - Generrator which convert mechanical energy into electrical energy,The Generator which consist of rotor and stator.

Fuse - A fuse is safety device that is designed to protect an electrical system from damage cause by excess current flow. It is a type of a overcurrent protection that is commonly used in electrical system.

3] The Fuse rating for circuit is typically selected on maximum current that design to handle the circuit. IF the total load is 10A .from the battery then fuse rating should be higher than 10A to allow the some margain of error.

The common rule to chose the fuse rating that is 125% of the maximum expected current in this case 125% of 10A id 12.5A is approprate for circuit

4] IF we 500 W load from power formula we can calculate the current. we have voltage 12V and ideal condition is 1Hr

Power = voltage *current

500 = 12* Current (I)

I = 41.67A

we have 1 hour so that we required 41.67 Ah battery.

5] Horn circuit , parking lamp sealed beam are connected in parallel for getting the same voltage and power, When tow component are connected in parallel they recieved the same voltage across each component this is beacuse the component is directrly connected to the power source.

6] Ammeter are connected in series , because they get same current. This is beaucsed the ammeter is current measuring device
