Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1 . Battery, Motor, Generator, Breaker, Starter, Distributor, switches . Ammeter,ignition coil.

2 . Battery

* It is device which convert chemical energy into electrical

* It is store the energy and this energy used for any mechanical application.

working :

* Battery is consist of anode , cathode & electrolyte. Due to the chemical reaction in battery the flow of electron from anode to cathode. And this flow of electron provide electric current that can be used for work.

Motor

* It is device which convert electrical energy into mechanical energy.

* this mechanical energy used for power industrial machinery, car.

working :

*When an electric current flow through the winding due to this magnetic field generate and shaft is rotate.

Generator

* It is device convert mechanical energy to electric energy for transmission.

working :

* an electric generator works on the principle of electromagnetic induction phenomenon.

3 . The fuse rating is more than the maximum load of the appliance to avoid the short circuit or damage ofappliance due to over flow of load . we must maintain the fuse rating 25% greater than the total load .so that the fuse rating is to be 15A

4 . capacity =load*time

load given =500w

voltage = 12V

time assumed=24 h

capacity =500*24

=12000wh

amp-hours =watt-houes/volts

=12000/12

=1000 Ah

5 .

* Generator to Current voltage regulator both were connected in parallel connections. Current is flows through different branches.

* Battery to genrator both were connected in parallel coonections.current flows through different branches

6 .

*Battery to starter both were connected in series connections. Current is flows through same branches.

* ammeter to ignition switch both were connected in series connections. Current is flows through same branches.
