Project - A project on design of road from a given topographic data

Point creation: go to points > point creation tolls > click on point > click on display > enter point number > enter point elevation > enter point name > go to prospector > go to point group > right click > new > give point group name > go to include > click on with raw description matching > type point name for grouping > click on ok.

Create surface: open civil 3d > open topo drawing > go to surface > click on surface > type surface name > go to created surface > go to definition > select the point files > open the point file drawing > select the points in PNEZD format > Select the points > surface will create

Horizontal alignment: Go to alignment creation tools > draw tangents lines > and curves between tangents

Vertical alignment: go to profile > create surface profile > offset the ogl profile for creating the profile line > go to profile creation tolls > draw tangents > draw curves b/w tangents > go to corridor > create corridor > draw sub assembly > go to sample lines > create sample lines > go to section views > create multiple section views.

select the sample lines > go to compute material > select the alignment > select the sample lines > select the surface > create top surface and bottom surface > click on ok.
