Objective : To design Wiring Harness For Given CAD - Back door of Car and By applying all Packaging rules, catalog, 2d Drawing sheet.

Given CAD :

Data Analysis: 

In given cad Data there is No power inlet Hole so We can use interconnection connector as Power inlet to the back door.

Back door majorly consist of following sensors and electrical equipments:-

1. Tail Light or rare light Or break light. 

2. indicator and reverse light. 

3. wiper motor.

4. back camera.

5. Door lock sensor.

6. Door lock on and off motor.

Note: Locations of some of these compoments are not given so we are taking approximated loactions.

Design Methodology : 

1. Create a product file as context assembly in which all the part file and product file should be contain.

2. Create another file as Geometrical bundle in which all the electrical connectors and clips are added.

3. Create a product file as back door assembly in which Back door part and other required parts are assembled.

4. Using catalog or copy Electricaly defined connector and clips to the geometrical bundle .

5. Position the connectors as per required.

6. position the clip and clamps as per required design clearance.

7. Convert the Geometrical bundle into electrical bundle for wiring harness.

8. Using mutibracheble tool complete wiring with appropirate wire dia. provied wiring protection such as corrugated tube or cotton tape.

9. Create flattening product file using wiring harness flattening workbench. Extract the geametrical bundle in flattening work bench.

10. Using Flattening tools flatten the modle as per required and create a drawing sheet and import the flattening model to covert 3d model into 2d Drawing.
