-Design of Backdoor Harness 

-> Back door is also called as tailgate. Wiring needed for the gate is for tail lights & if required wiper motor .

Design criteria:

 -Easy to assemble

-Easy to access

-Secure properly

-Routing should be kept away from heat zones

-Kept away from sharp environments

-Routing should not get damaged during dynamic action.

-Should be kept away from wire envelopes.

-Should not be directly exposed or visible in the vehicle.

Considerations:

-Branch length should be more then 50mm

-minimum distance between clip& nearest branch point should be 25mm.

-Minimum distance betw 2 branch breakouts to be 50mm

-Routing should be properly guided with help of supports.

-Battery cables should be routed 50mm away from metallic components.
