Project 2

Aim:Route the Wiring harness on Given car body and Prepare flatten view drawing in CATIA V5. Application of all Packaging rules, Industry best practices studied in this course shall be demonstrated in design. Apply Protection coverings as required.

All the components used in the project are defined electrically and cataloged.

8 pin connector

Fir Tree clip - I have made a simple design because the clip provided had some errors.

3 pin connector

Proper routing of bundle

This harness routing is done for the tail lights and the number plate lights.

Flattening and Drawing creation

Note: I was not able to exact few components such as the COT tubes and the fir tree clips in the Electrical Harness Flattening Workbench. While enquiring with the SKILL LYNC mentors, they assured me that it was a software issue.

All the required files are attached as per requirement.
