- A test plan is a document that sets out the scope, approach, and schedule of intended testing activities. The test plan may also list the resources the software tester needs to function effectively.
- The test plan usually includes the following information:
- The overall objective of the testing effort.
2. A detailed outline of how testing will be conducted (the test approach).
3. The features, applications, or components to be tested.
4. Detailed scheduling and resource allocation plans for testers and developers throughout all stages of testing.
- What is the Purpose of Test Plan :-
The primary objective for a test plan is to produce documentation that describes how the tester will verify that the system works as intended. The document should describe what needs to be tested, how it will be tested, and who's responsible for doing so.

The question is Write a Test plan to test features of a new mobile phone (Blackbox test) that needs to be implemented based on the following requirements. (The product is still under development stage and is yet to be UA (User Acceptance ) tested .Every other thing to be included in the test plan can be hypothetical.We write the what is test plan in software and what is purpose of test plan , also writre the types of sytem testing. there are 9 typeys of system testing writeen in the above.Now we write the test plan Its is nothing but the action and status of the product owner abd customer is written in the above . We took the excel sheet write the test case about the test plan.Finally written in the customer requriment chat it is like control flow chart.Is show in the above diagram. Sloved the problem.
