Series and parallel connections
In series circuit connection, components are connected end to end while in parallel ,all components are connected across each other forming electrically common points.

(From datasheet)
Cell nominal voltage = 3.3V
Nominal capacity = 2.5 Ah
Cell energy capacity = 3.3*2.5=8.25
Energy capacity in terms of kilowatt(total power of battery pack) = 18kWh or 18000Wh
Module - 4s & 4p

fig2

fig3
(Model was made using CATIA)
Voltage of each module = 4*3.3=13.2V
Capacity of each module = 4p*2.5=10Ah
Therefore we need 13.2V & 10Ah single module capacity.
Now lets consider battery pack voltage capacity which is considered as 52V
fig4
We need to calculate the number of modules in series and parallel.
Considering NSM(no. of series module) = battery capacity(V) / voltage of each module = 52V/13.2V = 3.9 = 4 modules in series.
Considering NPM(no. of parallel module) =Energy capacity in terms of kilowatt/52V
Total energy capacity in Ah be 18000Wh/52V = 346 Ah
Therefore NPM = 346/10 = 34.6=35 modules in parallel
Thus we need 4s & 35p
Calculating total capacity in terms of kilowatt
4s*35p*(4*3.3)*(4*2.5) = 18480Wh = 18KWh apx.
