Project 1 _Creating an Architectural plan for the provided plot size and develop relevant basic structural drawings
ANS :-
FLoor Plan
- As we know that our plot size is 60' X 20' which is 18.3m long and 6m wide.
- Our plot orientation facing is east side.
- And we're going to make Floor plan, elevation, section and structural drawing of column, beam and footing.
- We beging from floor plan for that take a new sheet type UNIT command then dialogue box will open select type as engineering, precision as 0'-0".
- Then type D Dimesion Style manager will open click on Modify each and every setting will be as per standards and select text as roman.shx style, use overall scale as 2. After that click on Primary units set unit format as Engineering and precision as 0'-0" and remaining setting as I said earlier as per standards.
- Now all the preparations is done we can start making drawing.
- Select line command draw a vertical line of 60' ft and draw horizontal line of 20' ft attaching to it.
- Use offset command to give an offset of 20'ft by selecting vertical line and 60'ft by selecting horizontal line.
- Now rectangle is formed again use offset command and give an offset of 6" to three sides only which is left, right and top not front one.
- We've now wall thickness to three sides its time to proceed further.
- First we need to fix the possition of columns so thats why our focus is right and left wall for now.
- In left wall provide three column which size is 9.2"inch X 1'-4"ft and one small which size is 9.2" X 9.2" inch.
- In right wall provide column which is 9.2"inch X 1'-4"ft and three small which size is 9.2" X 9.2" inch.
- Now use front wall line to give offset of 16'-4" and again give a offset of 4"inch for the front wall.
- Then provide a column which size is 9.2"inch X 1'-4"ft. after that give an offset of 14'-8" ft to make new column for stairs.
- Now use rigth wall for an offset of 6'-4"ft, 6' ft and 3' ft this is how we get stairs.
- Use new wall outer line to give an offset of to make platform of stairs and then continuing offset by distance of 10" for making of stairs.
- Now provide same size of column which is 9.2"inch X 1'-4"ft for the stairs one to the right side and another to the left side.
- As we all know that plans outer wall are ready but inner wall is not yet ready so first are going to concentrate on outer wall window and front door.
- The front door D which size is 4' X 7' make that draw a small vertical line to the left inner wall and give an offset of 4' then use trim command and trim the lines.
- To make the RCC frame of door draw a rectangles which is 2" X 3" in size and provide to the both corner then move to the door pannel.
- Now use circle command and draw a circle and two straight vertical line which represents door pannel and swing and our D is ready.
- Then move on the window W1 which is front window of the plan.
- Draw a vertical line of 4" then give an offset of 6'ft and draw middle horizontal line between those lines.
- After that give an offset of 1" to upward as well as downward side then erase the middle line and our W1 is ready.
- In left wall provide two windows first is W1 and another one is W2. The W1 window can be provide easily by using rotate command and by decreasing length of window by 1' we get the W2 and then provide it to the left wall.
- In the right wall we have another two windows one is W and another is W2. The length of W is 10' and making procedure is same as we do with another two window and then provide them both to the right wall.
- Now our focus is internal walls for that select top inner wall line and give an offset of 11'-6" , 4", 4', 4", 12' and 4" now we have all the horizontal lines which required for the internal wall now select right wall inner line.
- Then give an offset of 4', 4", 2'-6", 4", 7' and 4" all the necessary lines are here after that use trim command to trim unnecessary line and we got the all the rooms and toiltes which is required.
- After completion of wall provide three internal columns which size of 9.2" X 9.2" inch.
- The rooms have the door D1 and toilets have door D2.
- Procedure of making of door are same for remaining doors but size difference are there and no other changes.
- The size of door D1 is 3' X 7' and Door D2 is 2'-6" X 7'. Provide D1 at Bedrooms and D2 at toilets.
- Now create ventilators the procedure of making the ventilators are the same as window but the length of ventilator V is 2' X 2'.
- Select Multiline text and writte all the rooms name with height of 11" with there room sizes. Only size of toilet names with the text heigth of 7".
- Then provide the chajjas to all the widows and our plan is complete.
Elevation
- It just an projection and front view of the plan which we drawn just now.
- Use XL command and project the small column to the upper side just like that project stairs column fron door and window.
- Then draw a horizontal line which represents GL.
- Now by using that horizontal line give an offset of 2' which is door heigth with 2 steps.
- Then give an offset of 5' which is for window bottom after that 9' for both top of door and and window.
- Now we have door's all four side then trim the unnecessary lines and give an offset of 2" and 8" for design purpose of the door.
- Draw a small circle which diameter of 3" which can use as handle of the door.
- Now our door is ready then our focus is window.
- Trim the non-required lines then we'll get shape of our window use join command to join he sides.
- Then give an offset of 2" and draw a middle in the window to amke to blocks.
- Now again use bottom GL line to give an offset of 6" for thirteen times and then give an offset of 2'-6".
- Trim the unrequired lines and our stairs are ready.
- Select GL line and give and offset of 11'-6" for beam bottom,91'-6" , 1' and 7' then trim the lines which is not required.
- And our elevation is ready."
Section A-A
- As we know that our plot size is 60' X 20' which is 18.3m long and 6m wide.
- Draw a horizontal line which is 44'-9" long then give an offset of 11'-6", 1'-6", 1' and 7'ft.
- To the left side draw a vertical line which is 21' long then give an offset of 8', 4", 3'-2", 4", 4', 4", 12', 4", 14'-4" and 6".
- For terece portion wall give an offset of 9.2" for four times and trim unnecessary lines.
- Now creat a rectangle which is 2' X 2'-4" then give an offset of 2" and draw a horizontal line in the middle of rectangle and then give an offset of 6" to upward and downward.
- After that we get a Ventilator now place it to the proper possition.
- Create a new rectangle which is 5' X 4' then give an offset of 2" then draw vertical line at centre of the rectangle which represents partition of the window.
- Then copy the window and use explode command now delete the rigth side line and select the three vertical lines then copy them to the right side.
- After that draw vertical outer line to close the window.
- Now both the window place it to the proper possition.
- And our section is complete.
Ground Floor Plan
- The ground floor plan it is an replica of the where all the section are representing below the ground or plinth level and below of the ground.
- Now select all the columns and copy it to the new sheet.
- Then attach all the columns by drawing line with an offset of 9.2".
- The attaching of all the columns shows plinth beam of the column.
- After that draw vertical lines which is at centre of the all the column and same procedure will be follow to draw horizontal centre lines to all the columns as we drawn vertical lines.
- Select all the recently drawn line convert them into centerline type.
- Then use multiline text and write a text which heigth is 10" in roman type as C0.
- After writing that give that name to all the column which size have 1'-4" X 9.2".
- Copy the name C0 and paste to another side and change the name as C1.
- Copy that name paste to near all columns which size have 9.2" X 9.2".
- Then give name to the drawing by using multiline text and write Ground Floor Plan with text height of 1'-8".
- With text type of Roman and our drawing is complete.
Layout Plan For Footing & Column
- First we're going to copy all the columns and cetre line which we have drawn recently on previous sheet.
- Then paste them to the new sheet. We are going to paste them with there name as well.
- Now create a rectangle which size of 7' X 7'-8" and then give and offset of 4".
- Copy this rectangle at top three columns centre which represent as footing of that columns and name of that column is C0.
- After that use rotate command and rotate that column 90 degree.
- Now size of our rectangle is 7'-8" X 7' paste that rectangle at C0 to the LHS.
- After that create another rectangle which size is 3'-8" X 3'-8" then give an offset of 4" and copy that recatangle to the column name C1.
- Copy that footing the all C1 columns.
- Now we have to combine footing which size is 14' 2" X 7' then give an offset of 4".
- Copy that rectangle footing to the two columns which nearer to the each other.
- After all the placements of all footing give them as well as per there size just like 7' X 7'-8" give this footing as F0.
- Give this footing size 3'-8" X 3'-8"name as F1 and last one 14' 2" X 7' give this size as F2..
- And our drawing is complete.
