  • Then we'll go for Text in this text style slecting as arial text colour as 150, Fill colour will be none text height as per requirement.
  • In text here is an option text placement in which we will go for Vertical--> Centered , Horizontal--> Centered and Veiw of direction --> Left to right .Offset from dim line --> As per requirement.
  • Text alignment --> Horizontal
  • Then another option is Fit. In which there are three options Fit option ,text placement and scale for dimension features.
  • First two option we will go for as per ISO standard and last option which is scale for dimesion features we'll go for as per drawing requirement.
  • Now most Important Primary units.
  • In which Unit format --> Decimal
  • Precision -->0.00
  • Decimal seperator -->Period
  • And there is no use of other option in this drawing. After Primary units there are two more option Alternate units and Tolerances which is also is no use for now.
  • After setting all the units we'll go for making drawing.
  • Select rectangle command and draw 10 by 10 unit sqaure.
  • Then give an offset of 0.35 unit.
  • Use copy command to copy the object and after use rotate command on copied object at an angle of 45 degree.
  • Then select the rotated square from the center and move to the original object at its centre.
  • After moving the object use trim command to trim the lines.

DRAWING 11

1)Aim & Intoduction :- Creating a drawing in which the squares are their.

2)Procedure :

1)Aim & Intoduction :- Creating a drawing which is kind of rectangular in shape with vertical V notch and two different dia circles but its not in accurate rectangle.

2)Procedure :-

  • For creating new drawing we will select new sheet 1st.
  • As per drawing required decimal unit for that we will go for unit command unit dialogue box will open then select the type as required unit which is decimal and precision is 0.0
  • Then we will go for dimesion style manager by typing dimesion command dialogue box will open.
  • We will go for new and giving it name as decimal units style, then go fo Lines.
  • In lines selection dimension colour line as 150, the line type and line weight would be as ISO standards.
  • Baseline is set as per requirement as well as extend beyond dim and offset from origing is also as per requirement of drawing.
  • Selecting extension line colour also 150 and extension line type 1, extension line type 2 and line weight as per ISO standard.
  • Then we'll go for Symbols and Arrows. In this first we have to select arrowheads --> 1st , 2nd and leader as closed filled.
  • After that arrow size --> as per requirement of drawing same goes center marks, break size and arc length symbol.
  • Radius jog dimension--> 45 angle and Linear jog dimesion as 1.5 text height factor.
  • Text alignment --> Horizontal
  • Precision -->0.00
  • Decimal seperator -->Period
  • And there is no use of other option in this drawing. After Primary units there are two more option Alternate units and Tolerances which is also is no use for now.
  • After setting all the units we'll go for making drawing.
  • First select the line command and set co-ordinates (1,1) from this point draw a horizontal line of 3 units.
  • And by continuing it downward vertically 4'-6" then straight 4'-6" then upward vertically 1'-2" then staright horizontally 5'-4" downward vertically 1'-2" and after horizontally 4'-6" contiue to the upward direction vertically at length of 4'-6".
  • Then horizontally 3' after that verically 9'in upward direction.
  • Draw a straight vertical line from the starting point which length of 9'.
  • Then draw a horizontal straight line of v notches of angle 90 degree and 60 degree at approximate distance.
  • Use offset command and select the horizontal line which we drawn recently and offset it at distance of 6'-9" to downward direction.
  • Trim the line to show horizontal notches.
  • Again use offset command now select 9' vertical line and now both offset line intersecting at point is the centre of the box.
  • Now create a box outside drawing which is 3' by 3' and rotate it at 45 degree.
  • Then select the box by object osnap from the centre of it and place between the offset intersect lines.
  • Use trim command to trim lines which is unecessory.
  • Now drawing is complete. Use dimlinear and dimangular for annotation.
