Aim

The Aim of this Power BI Report is to perform a trend analysis of Covid-19 vaccinations Worldwide based on People vaccinated from different Countries.

Introduction

COVID -19 Pandemic had huge impact on every human lives causing deaths in massive scale. To control and overcome this pandemic, Vaccines emerged as a tool to fight against Covid-19 Virus. Countries around the world started vaccination programs to save their people. Analysis has been made to identify patterns and insights which helps in better decision makings to get more people vaccinated.

Problem Statement

COVID – 19 Pandemic has affected public health and economy all over the world. Even though Vaccines has been made, there are difficulties in shipping and distributing them across the world. The Analysis will improve people getting vaccinated more to fight against Covid-19 virus in all countries.

Methodology

· Data Exploration

o Data Exploration is a review of data to observe dataset characteristics and patterns.

· Data Importing

o Import data from tables in Worksheets.

· Data Cleaning

o Data Cleaning is the process of modifying data to ensure that it is free of irrelevances and incorrect information such replacing null or empty values with Zero (0).

· Data Interpretation

o Data Interpretation is the process of using diverse analytical methods to review data and arrive at relevant information.

· Data Visualization

o Data Visualization is the process of using visual elements like charts, graphs, gauge, or maps to represent data.

· Filtering

o Filter is used to extract the required information from huge amount of dataset and controls the information in the report and visuals.

Analysis

The Dataset contains following,

· Country- Names of 223 Countries who had administrated vaccinations.

· Daily Vaccinations- Number of Vaccination and Vaccination per million administered on each day.

· Date- Year, Quarter, Month and Date on which data collected.

· Iso_Code- Codes given for each country.

· People Fully Vaccinated- Sum of people who are fully vaccinated considering of taking both doses.

· People Vaccinated- Sum of people who are vaccinated considering of taking at least one dose.

· Source- Names of sources and website from which the data is provided.

· Total vaccinations-Sum of total vaccinations and total vaccinations per hundred administrated as whole.

· Vaccines-Names of the vaccines along with their manufacturers name.

Further Analysis

· There are 223 countries who administered Vaccinations.

· The total number of daily vaccinations is 11.32 billion.

· Total number of daily vaccinations per million is 280.80 million.

· Total amount of daily vaccinations raw is 9.57 billion.

· ISO Code are assigned to each country.

· Total number of People Fully vaccinated is 548.59 billion.

· Total number of People Fully vaccinated per hundred is 1.38 million.

· Total number of People vaccinated at least one dose is 731.11 billion.

· Total number of People vaccinated at least one dose per hundred is 1.69 million.

· Total Amount of Vaccination is 2.0 trillion.

· Total amount of vaccination per hundred is 3.50 million.

· There 84 different types of vaccines.

· There are 81 Source names and 119 source websites from which data is provided.

· Data has been provided for days which ranges from 2020 December to 2022 March.

· Countries like India, United States, Brazil, and Indonesia has high number of people who got vaccinated at least once with India topping the list with highest number of people vaccinated.

· According to the report 548.59 billion people has been vaccinated but target amount of people getting vaccinated should be around 1.45 trillion.

· People getting daily vaccination has peaked during May 2021 to September 2021.

· Data can be filtered by year, Quarter, Country names, Vaccine types, source names and source websites to get Data based on requirements.

Insights

· The report provides valuable insights about people getting vaccinated across the world to fight against Covid-19 virus.

· The Increase in people getting vaccinated shows people’s interest in taking vaccines which is administrated by their countries.

RECOMMENDATIONS

· People should focus on getting fully vaccinated to get full immune against Covid-19

· Countries where less people are vaccinated should administer more vaccination camp.

· More data of high quality with more information helps make the data more useful to analyze and study.

· Countries which are well developed should help in providing vaccination for underdeveloped Countries.

Conclusions

· From this Analysis, it is clear that Covid-19 Vaccinations is steadily increasing with people showing interest in getting at least one dosage of vaccine and more people showing interest in getting fully vaccinated.

· India has highest number of people getting vaccinated.

· Data shows that the progress of people getting vaccinated across countries which concludes that vaccines help people fighting off covid-19 virus.
