Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck
objective:
.To identifying and cleanup all the topological errors in the model.
. To create a surface mesh.
. To create a wind tunnel around car.
. To create a volumetric mesh to perform an external flow CFD analysis simulation.

GEOMETRY CHECK-UP:
There were many error which i have to clear in form of collapsed error , crack , intersection ,concave and convex error. Single cons teriple cons were also error. But some times triple cons are not error according to scenario . when there is contact of three surfaces then it is not taken as error. In this model there were many tinny intersection errors which has to solve. By taking high consciousness regarding tackle this types of errors by deleting hot spot it easily done .After cleaning-up all the topological errors the geometry is checked using checks under checks manager. The above image of checks manager after performing geometry checks. We will see that no errors are present. So we can conclude that all the errors have been corrected and the model is ready to be meshed.
Setting up of relevent PIDs:
We assign PIDs for different parts and give name and colour to differentiate between the components and ease up the working on the components individually .This is also done to specify names to different boundary conditions for various parts. We need to activate cross hatches before setting up PIDs.In this way we create PID for all the components. Then next thing is assign these PIDs to the components of the geometry . To give the PID we select with the different type of selection available to select the exact surface needed. Then after assigning the PIDs delete the empty original PIDs which has no components assigned by using compress. In the below image you can see that list of PIDs that we have assigned.

SURFACE MESHING:
Before meshing we have to give quality criteria. Here we select openfoam solver deck so that we get the quality criteria of that solver. Here as we have to give quality criteria. Here we have different surfaces we will use different quality criteria for different surfaces we will change mesh length as per our surface complexity and surface size.If surface is small we have to use smallest target length if larger we use accordingly. We set the elements length accordingly as a fine mesh for every element would be time connsuming and will be computationally expensive.

WIND TUNNEL CREATION:
Measurement of car length taken as X keep wind tunnel at 1000mm distance from bottom of car. We take wind speed 4x (in front part ,6x length of car added from rear . And the wind tunnel height is 3x, and by sside it taken as x.

CONCLUSION:
The important CAD model of TESLA CYBER TRUCK is Topologically cleaned and corrected all the feasible surface errors to perform external aerodynamic analysis.
Surface mesh is generated with the required element size.
Reconstructed is generated with the required element size.
Reconstructed the mesh as per the mesh quality required at corners and at intersection of edges.
Worked with the errore occured inthe mesh .
Created a wind tunnel for external aerodynamic analysis.
