Project 1

Aim: To schedule the construction of a main school building (G+2)

Procedure: 

Step 1:

1) Open the Enterprise tab

2) Select OBS

3) Click add and add the new obs as Project Manager

Step 2:

1) Click Enterpriset tab

2) Choose EPS and click add

3) Rename the eps as Skill lync education

4) Assign OBS as Project manager

5) Click ok

Step 3:

1)Go to the file menu and select New

2)Select eps as Skill lync Education

3)Give the project name " Skill-Lync Education Centre "

4)Give the Project start date  1st October 2020 and end date 30th April 2023

5)Give the responsible person for the project as the Project Manager

6)Give rate type as the standard rate

The project is now created.

Step 4 : 

1)Open the Project

2)Choose the calendar from the tools tab

3) Set the work hours will be 24x6 

4)Go to the detailed window in the project table. Select Default tab

5)Assign the calendar 6 x 24 to the project

Step 5 :

1) Go to the project menu and select WBS

2)Add suitable WBS as mentioned in the question

3)Go to the activity table to see the WBS grouping for a better understanding

Step 6 :

 1)Go to project menu

2)Click on the activities option

3)Click on "+" button on the directory bar to add activities.

4)Customize the activity table with "no of activities"

Step 7:

1) Give the activity relationship (Add the predecessor's column or use the Gantt chart)

2) Use the activity link (FF,FS, SS or SF)

3)Give the lead and lag where ever necessary

4)Check all the activities for float <35 by customizing the activity table

Step 8:

1)Click on view and select Filer By

2)Give the critical in filters and click the apply button

3)Customize the activity table for LS,ES,LF,EF

Step 9:

1)Give the constraints at the start date columns

2)Go to Enterprise --> user-defined fields 

3)Create the field with data type text
