Introduction to REVIT concepts

1. Ans :

•      Double click the Revit icon
• Once the screen is open select Project
• Click new New project  ------  Select (Construction, Architectural or Structural )
• Once open Then from Menu bar Save the file as ( Demo Diagram ).
• Hence saved.

2, Ans :

•     Once the Demo diagram is created  and close using file toolbar and close
• Then if you want to open the Demo diagram 
• Click the open in Menu bar 
• Once click the open select the file the location and select the file name ( Demo Diagram)

3, Ans :

• Once the  File is create select the Ribbon on Architectural template
• Once clicked the Architectural and the drop down with the some icons menu
• Select wall and select the dimension in x axis of 40.00' and y axis of 35' same is repeated to close the rectangle
• Hence the diagram is drawn

4, Ans :

• Select annotate tab 
• select linear, angular, aligned allignment press any one of the allignment 
• And select the wall ends and mark the dimension

5, Ans:

• Once the wall is created
• Select the side  of the wall and see properties
• Change the properties of the wall to concrete or brickwork any other types.

6, Ans :

• Once the wall Types is change Make a 3D view of the diagram
• Using  3D view  using default 3D view 
• Select the  Default 3D view 
• If you want to view in different direction use view cube hence diagram done

7, Ans :

• Once the 3d view is create 
• To Navigate use Navigate tool which is in view tool bar in user interface 
• Once the navigate tool is selected from there we can orbit which is to move in 3d object
• pan By zoom and also move the diagram with hand option

8, Ans :

•  To change the model in shaded, realistic and hidden
• Select the bottom tool bar with visual style tool
• Once select the visual style we can change to all shaded,realistic and hidden type

9, Ans :

• We have to place sun path click the  SUN PATH on the bottom tool bar
• Once click the sunpath we can make it as on as well as OFF

10, Ans :

•    Go to manage toolbar
• And select project information
• And make all the detail Name. orginaziation ,date, owner, location etc,.......
• This is how we can manage the project date etc....

11, Ans :

•   Analysis toolbar is used in structural analysis for the building
• Which is defined that load combinations , boundary conditions etc,.......

12, Ans :

•       In  revit we can also Link revits , Cads files, IFC files, DWF files etc 
• These are the we can link with revit and we can execute it.

13, Ans :

• Collaborate tab is used to support work together
• And sharing the file to geather
• File sharing and work sharing for all work to geather
• In local sharing for example ( mechanical , electrical and plumbing work together etc...).
