AIM-: Describing how building codes and standards are essential for the modelling and efficciency of the drawing in REVIT

Describe-:

• By using various standards and codes the drawing or modelling can be done in the uniform mannner to all the structures.
• By following the codes or standards the model is assured with the maximum safety of the strucures and resources.
• in Buiding codes and standards there are modern techniques are described according to the research and development of the Construction indusry so by following this we can implement the new modern techniques in the real world and improve the output of the strucures.
• In Building codes provided standard dimensions and limits of the perticular structure so that the Building are very standard manner with ease of use.
• drawing in REVIT using the building Codes and standards there is very ease to get the approval from the government authorities because the standards and codes are also published by the goverments itself.

AIM-Listing the five major steps that occur in the project cycle This steps are includes from conceptualization of project to maintenance and final stage of the project.

Initiation-

in intiation stage of the project there are various datas to be analyse and clerifying the objective and scope of the projects also discuss about the oucomes from the perticular project so that the project can be approved by the authorities.

Planning -

after getting the approvals from the aurthorities there should be the planning of the project start that how to complete the project in the given timeframe and with the available resouces for that the planning teams are work on to the preparing the shedules and the estimations of the perticular project by bifurcating the project in small tasks to achieve the milestomnes of the projects in the timefframe and availabe funds.

Execution-

Execution is phase of the project when working on the ground started on this task there are the project managers resposibilty to do the executions as per planning done by the planning team achive the milestones in the given timeframe and in the budget.

AIM- Destiguish the roles of design team and mangement teams in the construction project

Design Team-:

• Design team Finalise the design and plan the
• Execute the design on the ground by support the execution team from start to end of the projecct
• Implememnt the design on the projects by following the rules of NBC Clause 4.1

Management Team-:

• They have to achieve the completion of the project with efficent time and the alloted aBudget
• Project management team also ensure the quality control otver the project and smooth workflow as per the planning
• it also involved in the designing procedure and completion of the project in given time shedule
• this team is much resposible for the efficiency ogf the project

AIM- Identityfying the project requirement according to the NBC

Height Limitation -:

• as per the NBC :2005 Clause C-2.5 there height of building should not be more than 15m
• No need to provide the lift for the height of below 15m
• House of low income there should be Maximum two storey Buoilding
• As my model height is 9.6 meter which is less than the 15m so i have followed the NBC

Area Limitation-:

• According to NBC : 2005 C-2.3
• minium plot size with ground coverage not exceed 75% shall not be less than 40 meter square and small and medium town not less than 30 meter square
• My model Size was 30'x20' or 55.74 sq.meter which is more than the 40 sqm
• so NBC Code followed

Room Sizing -:

• According to NBC : 2005 C-3.3
• Carpet area of single multipurpose room should be atleast 12.5 Sqm.
• in House of two rooms there area should not less than 9.0sqm with minimum width of 2.5m
• and second room should not be less than 6.5 sqm with mionimum width of 2.1m
• For Both the rooms total area should not be less than 15.5 Sqm
• In My model there are Four two Rooms which sizes are (13sqm and 16sqm)
• Which is larger than area specified in NBC
• So the Building is safe

Wall Height -:

According NBC Clause 4 F-3.4

• minimum heigh of rooms and space should be
• habitable Room-2.75m
• Kitchen -2.6m
• Bath and Water Closet-2.2m
• corridors - 2.1m'
• in case of sloping roofs average height 0f habitable room shall be 2.75m and minumum height at eaves shall be 2.1m
• in my model minimum height of the walls are 3.0m which grater than the NBC specification
• SO the building follow the NBC

Thickness Based on fire and safety

• Thickness of masonary walls given by the table 2 of fire and safety section NBC :2005
• in my model wall thickness is 8" generic
• Which is grater than the NBC
• So the Model is safe

As dicussed in the question 7 my model follows all the guidelines of the NBC and under the limitation so that no need to revise the model.
