Aim : TO create a G+4 residental building as per NBC standards and to make it acentral model file and to inclde.

1. the slopped roof at the top level of the building (10 degrees)

2. Architectural components including furniture and home appliances

3. Room tags and annotatons.

4. A camera view on a each room and add it in sheet template.

PROCEDURE:

1. OPEN a new project file in a revit and save it witha a required file name.

2. choose the project units as feet and fractional inches.

3. Goto manage tab and click on project information to set up the project.

4. click on the save as option and specify the maximum break up as for the 3 backups

5. draw the elevations view and rename the levels respectevely.

6. sketch a layout by choosing wall command from architecturetab.

7.select door tool and window tool from architcture tab andd place them one after the other required.

8specify dimensions for each room using aligned tool from annotate tab.

9.Goto architectre tab and select room command and tag each room

10. select tag room command and tag each room

11. go to insert tab and load families

12. choose the appropriate doors from families

13. select the window and replace it with required type of window from project browser.

14. place the details elements like couch,bed,chairs,tables etc... at appropriate places by a component command under architecture tab

15.select the whole plan view and select the floor command undr architecture tab to draw.

16. again the select the whole project to copy and paste it alligned to selected levels

17.open the fourth plan view

18.go to architecture tab.

19. select the celieng command and choose sketch celieng to draw

20. select the appropriate type of celieng from property browser

21. go to manage tab and click on project units and then select slope and degree.

22. add dtails to the title block in the sheet

drag the 3d view of each room from property browser and place them in sheet

RESULT: a G+4 residential building is created and following are included in the project

1. the slopped roof at the top level of the building 10 degrees

3.a camera view on a each room and added them in a sheet template.
