Hood design-Week 2

For design we need the outer pannel skin data.

1. First we fix the outr pannel & the copying the outer pannel for working the inner pannel

2. in inner pannel we need offset as per given dimension

3. then trimming the inner pannel along the y axis to work half of the assy & mirror the other half to reduce work time

4. Drawn the inner pannel as the dimension given

5. By using the below commands

a) Offset curve on face

b) trim sheet

c) through curves

d) Law extension

e) face blend

d) Edge blend

6. then placing the hinge assy by using the geomentric constraints

7. Then using wave geomentry linker placing the strikker component in inner pannel

8. before placing the stirkker we need to draw the tragectry to place the strikker

9. then we need to done hemming process in outer pannel

10. As per given dimension we need to done the hemming process

In nner pannel we need to provide the some cut outs , it is used for pedestrain safety & then increase the performance

Embossing in Inner pannel used to transfer the force from hood to A pillar by our design
