Aim:

• To determine whether the given fender's wheel arch area will meet the requirements of the European Standards.

Procedure:

• The design wheel arc and fender must satisfy the wheel guard requirement in accordance with European standards in order to move on.

• Make a plane with the origin at the wheel plane's center.
• Create a line drawing using the measurements SA, SB, SC, SD, and SE.
• The junction of the project after sketching points to the fender

Wheel Arch:

• The semicircular portion above a car's wheel is called the wheel arch.

USA Standards Regulation For Fender Wheel Arch Design:

• The American Standard stipulates that the fender must be at least 10mm away from the outside surface of the wheel at points every 10 degrees between -20 degrees and 180 degrees from the center of the wheel.

European Standards Regulation For Fender Wheel Arch Design:

European Regulation:

• Measure CL L at sections SA, SA, SB, SC, SD, SE, and SE, then create a CL check chart to validate.
• To comply with the European Regulation on Wheel Guards, the CL L value at each of the five sections must be larger than 10mm
• The value of a must be greater than 5mm at a line 30 degrees in front of and 50 degrees behind the center vertical axis of the wheel.

Fenders:
