Fender Design Challenge
Aim: To design fender with the help of given master section and NX-sheet metal tool.
Introduction:Here we desing fender with the help of given master data in the form of 2d drawing by keeping all the parameters in mind.
Procedure:
1. we need to take the styling surface from the styling team .
2.A-piller mounting region:
- offset curve is used at the a-piller mounting region.
- And with the help of trim sheet we need to create the area as shown in the figure.
- Then we need to use law extension for to extend as shown in figure.
- after finishing A-piller mounting area we need to design the drip area with the help of following tools.
- Law Ectension:it is used to design the following flanges to fit with the body as shown in the figure.
- Next we need to create all the areas with the help of law extension, trim sheet,blend etc as shown in the figure.
- conclusion:We have finally completed the fender design as per design standard's with the help of NX-sheet metal design.
