Sheetmetal parts of odd shapes

• Aim:We need to design a sheet metal part of odd shapes using Nx sheet metal.
• Introduction: We will create the dumb body and then try to convert it into sheet metal body.
• Procedure:

1. Firstly we need to create the dumb body using the extrude feature.
2. Then we need to wrap the edges of the created dumb body with the help of the sheet metal from solid option.
3. Then we need to create the flange on one of the longest edge of 20mm length .
4. Then create the jogle at the another longest edged face of jogle height 20mm.
5. Then unbend whole body and then create the bead feature of depth 3mm as shown in fig.
6. Then create the holes on the jogle flange and the top face as shown in the figure(d=10mm).
7. Then rebend the created sheet metal body and then create the flat pattern of the created sheet metal body.
8. Hilight the bend radius,angle,direction in the flat pattern feature.

• Conclusion:Finally we created the sheetmetal part of the odd shapes.
