the fender is the part of a vehicle body that frames a wheel well

its primary purpose is to prevent sand, mud, rocks and other road sprays from being thrown into the air by the rotating tire , fenders are basically present to prevent any injuries to pedestrian and contain the motion of these particles

For the Mounting purpose, all the embossing must be flat surface so that we can mount by using fasteners

As per the above picture, the minimum radius is infinity for all emboss so we can conclude all the given emboss are flat surface
