Fender Design
Fender is a automotive componenent it is used to cover the car inner body by preventing the mud and dirt particles entering into it .it is lso designed to prevent the injuries to the pedestrians.

Fender is designed on the basis of road in every country there are different road considerations ,to follow this fenders are designed on basis of which country its been used .
Design considerations
It has to be fixed to the car it should have a less weight that it should be 0.78mm . it should be fixed to the car in following ways.
It should be fixed on car body parts such as sill area, engine mountings, A pillar.
Main and important consideration is drip area
Drip area is the region on which the fender is fixed to the engine body frame, it should be followed by given master section provided that is shown below

It should be designed such a way i.e less than the 4omm by top of the fender, it should follow this to avoid sheet spring back effect.
It should be in that range which allows the manufactrer to increase the flecsibilty of fixations on the engine frame.
Sill mounting sill is the bottom part of the car on which entire body is supported, fender fixations can be done in different manner it is depend upon the design of a fender and the present market demand.

Fender liner or Paffel it is a flexible plastic part which is widely manufactured by injection moulding method, it is mounted to fender to reduce the dirt entering into the car body,
It is also mandatory it should be designed in away that it is fixed by push pins these are manufactured by plastics

A pillar mounting it is a metal component and the fender both are fixed by fasteners this fixations are firmly tightened to meet the requirements.
