Fender Design
Fender is used to restrict foreign material like sand, water and rock to go inside vehicle. It works as safety for pedestrian against material like rocks and other small pieces from road that stuck in tyres.

Fender have 5 mountings:
1. Bumper Mounting

2. A-pillar Mounting

3. Sill Mounting

4. Drip Mounting

5. Splash Mounting

Rolling: It is used to reduce sheet thickness as per our requirement.

Blanking: Blanking is a process to cut-out blank from large sheet. In blanking smaller piece is our final output. (We will cut out blank size as per our parts profile.)

Piercing: It is a process to make holes or any profile in sheet. In Piercing bigger piece is our final output. (We will cut out holes in this process.)

Bending: It is a process used to bend sheet metal as we required.

Drawing: It is used to draw sheet from die of desired shape. It makes glass type shape.

Stamping: It is used to make embosses or pocket of required height or depth.

Design parameters:
1. There should be minimum 3° draft to make ejection and bending smooth.
2. Mounting hole locations should be as per dimension given in master sections.
3. Drip area depth should be less than 40mm.
4. Mounting holes must be easy to reach.
5. Drip area should be minimum 10mm or over.
6. Radius and dimensions of fender should cross checked and verified.
