Fender Types
Full Bumper Type and
Half Bumper Type
Currently automotive industries using half bumper type fender, because it reduces blank area when compare to full bumper type.
We can produce two fenders with slight increase in blank sheet area and also it reduces steel weight to the car so ultimately cost and overall weight of vehicle reduces.
By using half bumper type fender, it allows to use more plastics instead of steel. Because every inch of steel is cost.
