Fender Design using Nx:

FENDER: A fender is the part of a car that protects ENGINE from the mud and particles, stone that the tire catchup from the road. also it is a asthetic part of the BIW of a car.

there are two types of fender:

1. full bumper type; it actually covers the headlight area also, due to which it gains much weight.

2. half bumper type: in this it does not cross the boundry of headlight , hence have less Net wt. also cheaper to manufacture since toolign is small.

Mounting of the Fender:

there are 5 zones to which the fender is mounted.

A piller, Drip Area, Body(frame), Bumper, & Sill.

Using master section creating mounting of the fender:

The thickness of fender is 0.75 mm.
