Fender Design
Objective Of The Project:
To design fender and the main design requirement to be considered are drip area, bumper area,a pillar mount area and sill mount area with the help of master section as referance given.
About Fender:
Fender is the american english term for the part of an automobile ,motorcycle or other vehicle body that frames a wheel well. Its primary purpose is to prevent sand, mud, rocks, liquids and other road from being thrown into the air by the rotating .
Type of Fender
1.Full Bumper Type 2.Half Bumper Type

Main areas to be consideed while designing a fender
1.Drip area
2.Sill Mount area
3.A Pillar Mount area
4.Bumper Mount area
5.Baffle Moount area
Master Section As given:

Drip area:

It is the area where the fender is attaached to engine housing through fasteners. There should be some considerations followed to design the drip area of the fender from the backside of the front fender there will be 200mm clearance for the cowl(wiper mount)
Sill Mount Area :
It is the bottom most area of the fender. It gets Connected with the door region of the car.
A pillar Mount Area:

This Mount Area is located near the cowl top of the car,Where it is fastened with the cowl
Bumper Mount Area:

Used law of extension of 15mm length at an angle of 75 degree.Used Bridge Curve to remove sharp corners.Embossed sketches at the draft angle of 15 degree.Used trim sheet to create 2 Holes of diameter 5mm.
Buffle Mount Area:

In this Mounting area buffle are mounted using fasteners, which are used to seal the opening between the wheel and engine components.
conclusion:
Hence,I have completed the fender design challenge successfully the grip of tools which attempting the challenge .
