Fender Design considerations:

  • Fender is automotive Sheetmetal part.
  • For manufacturing we can use punching, shearing, embossing and bending sheetmetal operations.
  • Minimum 8 degree draft angle provided for manufacturing
  • Mounting surfaces should be flat.
  • Manufactured part should be dentfree and durtfree.
  • Deburr sharp edges

Designed fender has five mounting postions which are Drip area mounting, bumper mounting, sill mounting, A pillar mounting and Baffel mounting shown in below images.
