Drafting of various geometries using Chamfer, Fillet tool in AutoCad

Aim:

Drafting of various geometries using Chamfer, Fillet tool in AutoCad .

Introduction:

The given drawing are drawn using the chamfer, fillet tools and line, circle, arc command.

Procedure:

  • First set the unit in decimal for required drawing and in architectural and in engineering for the required drawing. Set precision of two digits.
  • C1 draw a line of 3.00 then an angel of 45 degree draw a line 2.12 then 90 degree draw a line of 2.83 , draw a line of 2.00 in left horizontal direction then entre close. Then from bottom left corner draw a line of 1.5 and heights of 2.5 and 1.0 then draw a circle of radius 0.6 and 0.4.
  • C2 set the unit in architectural and draw the line of 8' and 1'9" and 2'5" On either side the draw line with angle of 90 degree and 135 degree with length of 3' and 2'10" and then close the line .
  • C3 draw a line of 5'0.1" and line 3'3" and 1'6" on either side then draw a line on top with length of 2'6.5" and then connect both the point on right side then from the starting point draw a line of 1'3" and 1'6" and draw a circle at the connection point with radius of 9" then delete the line.
  • C4 draw a line of length 2.5 then 2.5 as heights then 2 on left horizontal side then from starting point draw a line of 0.5 height and length of 3 left side then 3 top then extend upto 5.5 then draw a line from the right side last point and draw a straight line then from the height of 5.5 draw an horizontal line on right to intersect on the line then trim other lines then draw a line of 2 from top right to left side and draw a line of 2 from that point to bottom and connect the line.
  • C5 a line of 11.50 and 6 then offset it on both sides and with 6 as line offset it at a distance of 3 on both side then with center of 11.50 draw a line of 3 then draw a circle of radius 1.5 then draw line of 1.5 on both side and height of 3 draw a circle of radius 0.5 and 1 then copy it to other point and delete the unwanted line.
  • C6 draw a line of 1.5 and 0.5 then 1 from the last point and offset it at 0.5 then draw a line on top the copy the image and rotate it.last image draw a line of 1.5 ,1.5,0.5,1,1,0.5 then draw the cross line by connecting it.
  • C8 draw a circle of radius 0.9 and 0.45 then copy it at a distance of 8.55 from center and draw a circle at center with radius of 2 and 2.5 then draw a line form tangent of circle to top of the circle on all sides and then trim the unwanted circle.
  • C7 draw a line of 210 and 75 and 150 on either side the draw a circle of radius 35 and 25 as 35 touches the line and on other side draw a circle of radius 25 with it touches the line of length 75 and then draw a circle of 15 as radius then draw a straight line from the circle and with the top of the circle of radius 15 draw a line then fillets of radius 6 and 20 on either side and delete the unwanted line then draw a rectangul of 30 *70 and place it from a distance of 20 and 10 from both side and fillet the top line at radius of 15 on both sides.
  • C9 in this circle of radius 8' and 9' at a distance odf 32'6"are drawn and tan tan radius of radius 20'10" is drawn and trimmed the unwanted circle and arc of radius 41'8" is done.
  • C10 the dimension are not given so assumed and drawn with one at 180 degree and other at 45 degree to get the required drawing.
  • C11 the drawing are drawn with line of 20'4" then line is offset at a distance of 13'6" and then from top line a line of 9' to bottom side on both side then 3' to left and right for both sides and then it is connected to bottom line and unwanted line is trimmed then at 4'6" from both side at height of 1'2" draw a line and trimmed the unwanted line.then the v shape is made separately and put in the position and a square of 3' is made and put at 6'9" and 10'2" as distance and place it and delete the unwanted line.

Result:

The drawn are drawn using drawn and modify tools to get the required drawing.
