DESIGN OF DOOR ARM REST :-
DOOR ARMREST :-
It is a inside feature of a car door which gives a comfort conditions in the car and also covers the internal patches of the surface.

- Untrim
- Join
- Trim
- Extract
- Offset
- Multisection surface
- Sweep
- Smooth curve
Feature tree of the design of door armrest
PROCEDURE:-
- Initially create a tooling axis on the given class A and check, is that draft analysis of class is satisfying the design rules or not
- If it satisfied the design rules then extract all the surface of the class A surface and offset it to 2.5 mm
- Then create a B surface by using some commands like trim,extrapulate,trim etc.,
- After that create the C surface by using sweep command and trim it with respect to A and B surfaces
- Make sure that the final trimmed body has no boundaries
- Then close the surface by using close body command and do the draft analysis

Note:-
If you see the draft analysis of a model, it not proper because the CLASS A surface is impoper. By using the given class A is we can not manufacture a mode perfectly.
