Door Arm Rest Week 8 Challenge
DOOR ARM REST :
AIM :
Create class B and Class c surface by using given class A surface at thickness of 2.5mm.
PROCEDURE :
- First create tooling direction,if required create side tooling also.
- By using class A surface create class B and C surface.
- Join A,B and C surface together and trim it.
TOOLING DIRECTION :
- Tooling direction is a direction which pulls a parts from mold, mold have two part core and cavity.core eject a part from cavity and they called tooling direction.
- To create tooling direction take class A surface as a reference click draft analysis place compass class A surface rotate and find the tooling direction and side tooling direction also by using same method.

CREATING CLASS B SURFACE :
- Class B surface is a surface which give thickness to class A and in other word we can also say the class B surface is below to class A .
- To create class B first extracte the surface one by one and extrapolate and trim it off.
- offset it into 2.5mm to conform wethere its properly offset are not open class A and compare both class A and B or by other method take dynamic sectioning and see.

CLASS B SURFACE

CREATING CLASS C SURFACE :
- The surface which going to create by using swept option is class C surface.
- By using multi-extract take a line and smooth it by smooth curve and swept it along reference surface by using 90deg.
- Not all side we going to use reference surface some side we use draft direction by using 3deg.
- After created all side join together and take boundary to check all side properly joint or not.
