Creation of Multiple viewports, Scaling the drawing and setting in Template in AutoCad

AIM :

1. To create layout of plane and section , creating the viewpoint ,editing attributes and taking a plot.
2. To cteating a kitche layout in A4 sheet and take a plot.
3. To create multiview ports for industrial section drawing ,scaling it and taking a plot.

PROCEDURE:

AIM 1:-

1. To create layout of plane and section using Templete mArch.dwt.To create viewport using MV command of size 400x445 and375x445 ans setting the scale(1.50)
2. Editing attributes in the template. take a plot using A1 size

• In this command prompt enter 'XREF' and on the left corner attach the Dwg.Attach the drawing.
• After attaching Left click on the attached drawing file .Bind the attached file and then explode the drawing file.
• Click on the layout tab right click it and create nwe layout.Rename the layout tab as plan and section .Delete the current viewpoint displayed in the layout

To create the template:

1. Use command''Layout" select templete(.dwt)-select"mArch".from the dialogue box, select ISO A1 layout and rename it as Layout of plan and section.
2. Type theMS for the activating of model space.

To creating viweport:

• Draw a rectangle of size 400x445 and 375x445 for creating the viweport.
• Use the command "MV" multiple viwe-select object option and click on the rectangle do it for the second rectangle
• Command 'MS' for the model space and cilick on the viweport we need to set the dtawing. click on the first viweport and zoom in the drawing for the plane and give a scale of 1.50 and lock the viweport so that further zooming will not changed in scale
• Similarly do it for the second viweport zoom in the section view making it in scale of 1.50 and lock

Editing the Attribute in templete:

• Go to papre space by command "PS" and click on the templete which is block .click on the attribute and edit the attribute -double click on it , the attribute dialogu box appears
• Give the value as 'name' ,date, scale etc
• Enter the text by multiline text in the paper space and with text height 20.

Taking plot using A1 sheet:

• Use command "Plot" the dailougr box appears ,give the name as "DWGto PDF" select the paper size as ISO A1(594x841)
• Select the what plot as layout,scale is given as1:1 orientation is given as landscape,select the pen assignment as "monochome"so that the print will be in lack

RESULT:

Layout is created using templet mArch.dwt.viewport is created by using MV command size 400x445 and 375x445mm and the scale of the viweport is set to1:50 .Attribute in the templr=ete are edited.A pick is taken using A1 size

AIM 2:

To create the viwe of kitche for the layout in model space . create the layout withvfour viewports, with A4 sheet,create a plot

PROCEDURE:

1. in the command bax prompt enter "XRET" and on the left corner attach the Dwg.Attach the drawing.
2. After attaching Left click on the attached drawing file. Bind the attached file and then explode the drawing file.
3. Take diffrent viwes for the layout in model space.Open the drawing , using command "VIEW" to create new viwes.The viwe manger dialogue box appears. click on the model click on nwe to create new view
4. Take different views for the layout in model space, open the drawing use command "VIEW" to cteare new views.The view manager dialouge box appears.Click on model, Click on new to create new view
5. Another dialogue box of new view appears give the new view name as "above counter plan" select the boundary as defined window, and select it using the window select from the drawing
6. click on ok and the view with name counter plan and the selected drawing will be crated similarly craete view for below counter plan, hob,andA11 to A4 cadinets
7. Create the layout with four viewports,with A4 sheet.Open the layout tab rename the layout as kitchen layout>Delet the existing viewports
8. Default is the A4 sheet.With "MV" command create 4 viewports by making windows
9. Select the A11 toA4 cabinet view in the first viewport ,zoom and plane to fot in the viwe port.go tho the space with text command type SCALE1:1
10. Ente command ''ms'' cliclk on the make second viewport .Enter the command view and select view name snack counter
11. Zoom and pan the viewport to make the view fit in the viewport.Lack the viewport.Go to paper space and with command 'T' enter the text SCALE1:1
12. Similarly in model space click on the third viewport .Enter the view above counter plane ,zoom and plan the viewport,so the drawing fit in it
13. Lock the viewport Go to paper space and with command ''T'' enter as ABOVE COUNTER PLAN and SCALE 1:2 with text height 3.5
14. Create a plot Use ''Plot'' command, plot dialouge box appears. paper size is selected as A4 and name as A4 printer name ad print to pdf.Select what to plot as layout and select pen assingned as monochrome.Preview the print select ok to convert to pdf

RESULT:

AIM 3:

To create the viwe of section for the industrial buliding layout in model space . create the layout withvfour viewports, with A4 sheet,create a plot
