TYPES OF 3D MODELS.

  • Several types of 3d modeing are availabe in AUTOCAD . Each of these 3D modeling technologies offers a different set of capabilites.
  • Wireframe modeling is useful for initial design iterations and as referance geometry serving as a 3D framework for subsequent modeling or modification.
  • Solid modeling is efficient to use easy to combine primitive and extrude profiles, and offers mass properties and sectioning capabilites.
  • Surface modeling offers fine control over curved surfaces for precise manipulation and analysis.
