Creating a Layout, Section and Elevation with dimensions using AutoCad

1, Ans :

AIM :

• Create the Plan and Sections as shown in the Figures. Use proper dimension techniques and dimension styles to document the project. Assume the sizes of the doors and windows as per construction standards. Refer to sections for stair details if required.

INTRODUCTION :

• Draw the given diagram using Autocad commands ( line, trim, offset, rectangle, mtext , Dstyle and Dimensions) with given dimensions.

Procedure :

• There are above 3 diagrams are given the building plan , elevation and section

Diagram 1 :

• From diagram 1 the Plan of the building is given with proper dimensions
• Before starting to work limits and units has to be fixed limits of 420,297 and units should be in mm (decimal)
• Draw line using Xline vertical to draw wall and offset 230mm for inner wall
• After that the inner dimension of the room are drawn using line command and offset some of the crossing lines are cut using Trim command
• Window dimensions are assumed by user to draw manually there are three types of window provided with various size which can be drawn using line command
• Hence the plan is drawn using all commands

Diagram 2 :

• From diagram 2 the Elevation of the building is given with proper dimensions
• Before starting to work limits and units has to be fixed limits of 420,297 and units should be in mm (decimal)
• Draw line using Xline vertical to draw wall and offset 230mm for inner wall
• After that the inner dimension of the room are drawn using line command and offset some of the crossing lines are cut using Trim command
• Window dimensions are assumed by user to draw manually there are three types of window provided with various size which can be drawn using line command
• Above structure tanks are provided which is drawn using line or rectangle command.
• Sunshade along the structure should be of size 450mm projection from outer wall.
• Hence the plan is drawn using all commands

Diagram 3 :

• From diagram 3 the Section of the building is given with proper dimensions
• Before starting to work limits and units has to be fixed limits of 420,297 and units should be in mm (decimal)
• Draw line using Xline vertical to draw wall and offset 230mm for inner wall
• After that the inner dimension of the room are drawn using line command and offset some of the crossing lines are cut using Trim command
• Window dimensions are assumed by user to draw manually there are three types of window provided with various size which can be drawn using line command
• Hence the plan is drawn using all commands
• All diagrams are measured in Dimlinear command to get the dimension of all structures
• MText or Dtext command to execute the text command the structure hence the all rooms are marked.

Result :

From the above procedure all diagrams are drawn proper dimensions and mensioned line style with proper allignment , All the diagrams are drawn using Xline , Mtext, layer, copy, trim this are the some main command used in to draw the above diagrams.hence all diagrams are drawn.
