Creating a Floor plan, Footing detail and Isometric view using AutoCad
1.CROSS SECTION OF OF LOAD BEARING WALL OVER A SPREAD FOOTING
AIM: To draw cross section of wall over fotting.
PROCEDURE:
- Firstly draw the refrence lines by using the commands XL↵ H↵ and XL↵ V↵.
- then by using the offset command draw the horizontal offsets with respect to their distances.

- Again by using the offset command draw the vertical offsets with respect to their distances.

- after that trim the unnecessary lines and deleting it

- Again using the offset command to draw the steps.

- after that triming the all the extra lines .by using the dim linear command specify the dimensions of the diagram.
RESULT: CROSS SECTION OF OF LOAD BEARING WALL OVER A SPREAD FOOTING IS DRAWN

2.CROSS SECTION OF A ISOLATED FOOTING.
AIM: to draw c/s of an isolated footing.
PROCEDURE:
1. take line command .then start at 0,0.
and specify a point @0,0.15.
specify a next point @0.38,0.25
specify a next point @0,1.6
then cancel the line command and again take the line command and draw the line from the starting point(0,0) for a length of 0.5.

2. taking the offset command with 0.04 distance. then using the extended command and trimming the unnecessary lines.

3. by using the mirror command.

4. by using the copy -array -path is used to draw the stirrups.

RESULT:CROSS SECTION OF A ISOLATED FOOTING IS DRAWN

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.LINE DIAGRAM OF 2 BED ROOM BUILDING:
AIM: to draw line diagram of 2 bed room building.
PROCEDURE:
1.creating bedroom room(8.8*3.6) by rectangle.

2. use the command explode and select the rectangle.
- draw an offset using the command 'o"
- in the command line enter "O" and specifcy the distance of 3.6 units from the bottom end.
- draw an offset using the command O at a distance of 4.2 units from the right bottom end.

3. extend the two lines in the bottom and in the top.
- draw an offset at a distance of 0.3 betweeen the two lines to bottom side.
- repeat the same step and create two offsets.
- do the same process in the top.
- trim the unwanted lines.

4. using the command draw a line at a distance of 3.2 units from the left bottom end to up-wards 0.9 units.
using the command draw a line at a distance of 3.2units from the left top end to down-wards 1.8 units.

RESULT: the line diagram of2-bed room building is drawn.

4.CROSS SECTION OF LOADING BEARING WALL SHOWING FOUNDATION DETAILS.
AIM; to draw the c/s of load bearing wall showing foundation details.
PROCEDURE:
1. create rectangle by typing REC in command box.
- specify the first corner point (5,5)
- specify the length of rectangle=0.9 units in command box.
- specify width of rectangle=0.45 units in command box.
l
2. create another rectangle- REC in command box.
- specify the first corner point which is 0.15units from the starting point of first rectangle.
- enter the length of rectangle as 0.6units the width of rectangle as 0.4units.

3.create the third rectangle command- REC
- specify the first corner point which is 0.05units from the starting point of second rectangle.
- enter the length of rectangle as 0.3units the width of rectangle as 0.3units.

4.create the fourth rectangle command-REC
- specify the first corner point which is 0.05units from the starting point of second rectangle.
- enter the length of rectangle as 0.4units the width of rectangle as 0.6units.

5.draw the fiffth rectangle-REC
- specify the corner point as the corner of fourth rectangle.
- click on dimension- give length as 0.3units and with as unit.
- erase the unwanted line by trim.

RESULT: the c/s of load bearing wall foundation details is shown:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. ISOMETERIC VIEW OS STEPS:
AIM: To draw the isometeric view of steps.
PROCEDURE:
- to work the isometeric veiw- command DS- snap off- grid off- put isometeric snap on.
- make sure that ortho mode is on.
1. From isometeric drafting select iso-plane left.
- Give command L and move the cursor to -x direction (left) give 1 unit.
- moving the cursor to +y direction(top), give 0.15units.
- moving the cursor to +x direction, give 1units.
- moving the cursor to -ydirection(down), give 0.15units.

2.Changing the isometric drafting to iso-plane top
- move the cursor to back and give 0.3 units from the last drawn point.
- move the cursor to right direction and give 1 unit.
- move the cursor to front and give 0.3 units.

3.change the isometric drafting to iso plane right.
- copy the object drawn, ortho off
- commaand co and specify the base point and place it to new point.
- repeat it untill 4 steps are formed.
l
4.with iso plane right join the two ends with ortho off.

RESULT: the steps are drawn in isometric view.

6.ISOMETRIC VIEW OF GABLE WALL
AIM: to draw the isometric view of gable wall.
PROCEDURE:
- to work the isometeric veiw- command DS- snap off- grid off- put isometeric snap on.
- make sure that ortho mode is on.
1. From isometeric drafting select iso-plane left.
- give the command L and moving the cursor to right give 1 unit.
- pointing the cursor upwards give 3 units.
- draw 0.3 units to left and 3 units down and 0.3 units to left.

2.using isometric right, take line command and draw line upwards of 2.42 units from the starting point of step 1
- draw 1 unit towards the right and 2.42 units down.
- using isometric left again, using line command draw 0.3 units to left side and draw line which intersects the top line.

3.using the iso-metric right the line command draw.1 unit to right and 3unit to up.

4.by using the line command draw a line from bottom left corner @1.5 units and extend the line 4 units up i.e total 3.25 units from bottom.

5.with ortho off, draw a line between the corner of left side and the projected line done in step 4.
- draw it to the other side also till it meets the right corner.

RESULT: the isometric view of gable wall is drawn.
