Creating 3D Isometric view of various structural elements in AutoCAD

AIM 1:

To create a 3D isomwtric view of the given building with plane and elevation

INTEODUCTION:-

  • An isometric drawing is a 3D representation of an object, room, bilding or desing on 2D surface.
  • One of the defining characteristics of an isometric drawing, compared to other type of 3D representation,is that the final image isnot distorted.
  • This is due to the fact that the foreshortening of the axes is equal.
  • In this an isometric drawing, the object appers as if it id being viewed from above from one corner, with the being set out from this corner point.
  • Isometric drawing being with one vertical line along which two points are defined.
  • Any line set out from these points should be constructed at an angle of 30 degrees.

COMMANDS USED:

  • Line command
  • rectangle command
  • UCS command
  • Dimension command
  • Dimlinear command
  • Region command
  • Extrude command
  • Substract command
  • Box command
  • Units command
  • Dimstyle command
  • 3D face command
  • 3D orbit command
  • Hide command
  • Exploded command
  • Move command
  • Copy command
  • Dist command
  • Solidedit command
  • 3D mirror command
  • 3D rotate command
  • plan command

PROCEDURE:

  1. First we have to opwn thw autocad and then set the maximum limit and minimum limits on the screen.
  2. Here first have to drawthe rectangle using the rectangle command ,as shown the figure.
  3. Next we have to draw two windows of size of 3'x9'' and 9''x3'-3''.
  4. Now we draw the elevation of A and the elevation of B, as shown in above figures.
  5. We draw the given elevation using the line command and we put the dimensions using the dimilinear command.
  6. First we draw the window of the size 3'x4'
  7. We draw the window using the line command andwxtruded using extruded command.
  8. Next we draw the window of the size 3'-2''x4' .
  9. We draw the window using the line commandand extrude ising extruded command.
  10. Next we draw the walls using the extrude command as shown
  11. Next we use the layers for providing the colour of them
  12. Then we attach the created windows to the walls
  13. Next we use 3d orbit to seethe diffrent view of the given figure

FINAL RESULT:

The given 3d isometric view of the buildind with plane, elevation is drawn seccessfully in the autocad in detailed manner

AIM 2:

To create a 3D view of building facade as given in the plane and elevation and need to create the window using the given dimensions

  2. Here first have to drawthe rectangle using the rectangle command ,as shown the figure.
  3. Next we have to draw two windows of size of 3'x2'' and 9''.
  4. Next we need to extrude the plane using ectrude command, with the height od 40'-10''
