Creating 3D Isometric view of various structural elements in AutoCAD
aim& introduction :- To do models in 3d by as shown in challenge by using 3d commands. In this challege i had used commands like rectangle, move, copy, extrude, sweep, array, block,rotate, rotate 3d, union to make the model.
Procedure:- 1) Open new drawing make settings for units, limits & zoom. Make 2d make in top plan as shown in top & now open south west pane make the ucs to world, also make window bottom & top part of 2 parts also for verticle part & for glass part & extrude it both ways in vertical & horizontal, make it block of both windows. Now extrude the walls to sill level & insert the windows on sill at specified distance. now make rectangle of beside window part & extrude it. Now make rectangle verticle part above window & extrude it. make rectangle of 129''x129 in top floor plan & extrude it to 6'' above for slab. Import note that to extrude or make rectangle or edit bring the UCS to the face u want work or extrude.
2) Make 2d plan as shown. Now open south west pane make the ucs to world, also make window bottom & top part of 2 parts also for verticle part & for glass part & extrude it both ways in vertical & horizontal, make it block of both windows. make rectangles for walls upto sill for L shape below window portion now extrude the walls to sill level & insert the windows on sill at specified distance. Make rectangle on wall face to & extrude to widow top. Now array the wallwith widow by single row with specified height for first floor. For 2nd, 3rd & 4th floor array with single row & with specified height. Now for porgola part make rectangle on top of wall as specified distance & extrude it to the height for horizontal part make rectangle portion face of cverticle column & extrude it. Import note that to extrude or make rectangle or edit bring the UCS to the face u want work or extrude.
3) Now section of staircase portion using line command make it join in right or left pane. Now open south west pane & extrude it to the width of staircase. Make Circle of 2'' dai on step face & extrude it to height of 3.28' on each step & landing portion. Now draw verticle line from center point verticle & sloping to landing pipe. make circle on step face give sweep command to make railing. Import note that to extrude or make rectangle or edit bring the UCS to the face u want work or extrude.
4) Open new drawing make settings for units, limits & zoom. Make section wall in right pane as shown with specied distance. now open soth west pane make rectngles foundation part, pcc, ips, walls slab, parapet wall, parapet wall projection. Now extrude all portion to specfied distandance. Now make rectangle door vertcle section on width of wall & extrude it. On width of part of make rectangle for above door portion & extrude it. make rectangle for other walls & extrude it. For chajja portion make shape of lintel & chajja portion & extrude it.
