Benchmarking

Benchmarking in the Automobile industry involves a structured comparison between similar products, services or processes on some dimensions of perfomance.

Here I'm benchmarking some cars for Pughazhyendhi to purchase for his family.

Here are some cars I just selected for the Pughazhyendhi to purchase between 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs.

1. Maruti Brezza- It is a SUV model vehicle which has a good engine power of 1462cc for petrol. Its mileage varies from 19.8 to 20.15 kmpl. It has a length of 3995 mm, width of 1790 mm , height of 1685 mm , wheel base of 2500 mm and fuel tank capacity with 48 litres. For it's base model , the price is 9,81,260 rupees on road in Bangalore.
2. Citron C3- It is a hatchback model car with petrol engine of power ranging 1199 cc. Its mileage varies between 19.44 kmpl to 19.8 kmpl. It has a length of 3981 mm , width of 1733 mm , height of 1586 mm , wheelbase of 2540 mm and fuel tank capacity of 30 litres. Its top model is available for the price of 9,96,322 rupees on road in Bangalore.
3. Tata Altroz- It is also a hatchback model car of diesel with engine power of 1497 cc. Its mileage varies between 18.05 to 23.64 kmpl. It has a length of 3990 mm, width of 1755 mm, height of 1523 mm, wheel base of 2501 mm and fuel tank capacity of 37 litres. Its base model is available for 9,73,400 rupees on road in Bangalore.
4. Renault Kiger-It is another SUV model car with engine power of 999 cc petrol engine. Its mileage varies between 18.24 to 20.5 kmpl. It has a lenght of 3991 mm, width of 1755 mm, height of 1523 mm , wheel base of 2500 mm and fuel tank capacity of 40 litres. Its Rxt opt model is available with a price of 9,91,813 rupees on road.
5. Nissan Magnite-It is also a SUV model car with engine power of 999 cc petrol engine. Its mileage varies between 18.75 to 20 kmpl. It has length of 3994 mm, width of 1758 mm, height of 1572 mm, wheel base of 2500 mm and fuel tank capacity of 40 litres. Its highest selling model XV is available at the price of 9,31,000 rupees on road in Bangalore.

I recommend more for Brezza because of Mr. Pughazhyendhi's fond for big cars along with its mileage and engine power meets the comfortable for his needs to be done smoothly. But its just a base model.

UNDERBODY COATING

In Indian road conditions, a car's underbody is most prone to corrossion. Underbody coating provides long term protection from corrosion to car's underbody. Its also protects parts like internal body panels, frame rails and other inner cavities that are not physically accessible but are prone to corrosion.
