Benchmarking

BENCHMARKING:

Benchmarking is simply a technical word which means comparison. It is a study in which we measure the Company's Products, Services and Processes of Manufacturing with other companies who are considered to be the best or competitors in their respective industries.

By doing this study, we could understand what are the features and services they are providing in the market and with this data, we could try to improve our products and try to keep up the position or even do better than them, so that we can sell our own products in the market very more.

Benchmarking gives room to enhance and improve one Company's product and services by comparing with the other company's.

Benchmarking will play a vital role in any product-developing industry. By doing this, we could get to know what features are to be added and removed on the next version of the product.

The House of Quality and Gantt Chart is usually used to plot the Benchmarking.
