Benchmarking

Bench marking is usually comparing new model product with other models in same segment which all from different companies. bench marking is done on price, technology, material etc inorder to compete with the bench marked models in the market.bench marking requires detailed analysis based on detailed report made by analysis team. for competing in market ; new model should be having features of our competitor models and also new features should be introduced to stand ahead from the competitor. new technologies and easiest way to make the model is found out from the competitor by the detailed report. replacement of raw material by notising from competitor is also done.

For example during buying a car we would check many thing like features, price, mileage, driving comfort etc.if a car is having cost higher than other competitors but having less feature won't be a best choice.and indians would definitely check the milage given by the vehicle. so mileage should be minimal to be accepted.
