Challenge 1: Benchmarking
To respond to such questions following considerations need to be taken into account:
1)The city of Bangalore is not so commuter-friendly due to to its heavy traffic.
2)The car the owner buys the car for five people.
3)The car needs to have good mileage with comfortable seating.
4)Budget-friendly.
The following are suggestions of a few cars that fall into Mr.D.S. Pughazhyendhii’s Price range:
1) Maruti Swift Dzire LXI
2)Hyundai Venue E 1.2 Petrol
3) Ford Ecosport Ambiente 1.5L Ti-VCT
4)Tata Nexon XE
5)Mahindra XUV 300 1.2 W4

Conclusions:
According to our benchmarking review, most of our vehicles have a mileage of about 17kmpl. But, the swift dzire has a very decent mileage of about 24kmpl. Also, Maruti vehicles are very well known for their spare parts and service centers. However, the other vehicles in the benchmarking such as Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexa also have a good customer rating. Also, their safety is much appreciated. Tata has a very good name for its service center working as it has invested a lot in improving the service quality for the customers. The maintenance of a Maruthi car is quite cheaper when compared to any other vehicle. The wheelbase and legroom in each vehicle are highly appreciable. Since Bangalore is a crowded place, a wider car is a bit difficult to manage through its heavy traffic. It is also found that Hyundai Venue was best at its ease of driving. There were no sounds or lags while driving the car. Whereas, Maruthi Swift Dzire was a bit rugged and has few sounds while driving it. So, considering all the criteria for an ideal vehicle in the qualities required for Mr. D.S Pughazhyendhii it would be favorable for him to buy a Maruti Swift Dzire. The seats as per the pictures shown above are also very ergonomic and comfortable. More so, if he is okay to have a bit lesser mileage, it would be ideal for him to buy a Hyundai Venue.
