Benchmarking is a process where we measure our product’s features against competitors to discover how to improve our performance.it is an important tool for companies to help tem improve and stay competitive in market place .

EX- compairing the features of 100 CC bike with the available bikes in the mrket ,and deciding what new and advance features should be adopted so that our bike will become more valuable then the bikes available in the market.

Benchmarking 2

• Benchmarking 2 is the detailed benchmarking of benchmarking 1.
• In benchmarking 2 we compare a particular part or feature of our model with the parent model and the similar models available in the market.

EX- If we want to add sunroof in our car then we will compare different similar models having sunroof and decide what design should be implemented in our sunroof so that is can perform batter in less cost of manufacturing.
