Benchmarking
BENCHMARKING
Benchmarking in the automobile industry involves a structured comparison between similar products, services or processes on some dimensions of performance. For example, it can be used to compare the availability and delivery of features in a product and in this form Offen provides the basis of consumer tests and reviews. These look at products and services and provide recommendations based on which is best or some form of ranking amongst competitors.
It is particularly useful when comparing not only performance but also practice in other words what do the different organization do to enable that performance to be delivered and applied in this way it is a powerful tool in process innovation on studying how to ‘’best’ ’achieve their performance can provide powerful clues for changing the way processes operate.
Process benchmarking of this kind can operate at several levels:
Between similar process in the same factory or service branch.
Between different competing organizations.
Between different sectors using the same process.
Types of benchmarking
Process Benchmarking: This type of benchmarking helps you to better understand how your processes compare to others in your industry. By looking at other companies in the industry you can improve your processes to make them more efficient and cost-effective.
Strategic Benchmarking: Strategic benchmarking, similar to process benchmarking, is all about improving parts of your company through looking at others in the industry. Strategic benchmarking relates to strategy and how to create a strategy that will allow you to be more competitive in your area.
Performance Benchmarking: Performance benchmarking is the hardest process to improve as it involves learning about competitor performance metrics and procedures, and also making changes to processes within your business on the lower levels. Introducing new processes is a challenging action in any business as it requires buy-in from many different levels in the company. Performance benchmarking can uncover findings that might not be possible to implement in the business without creating a long-term change plan. These can be also the most effective and successful changes for a company.

Pros:
The venue comes with the design and proportions of a proper SUV. It's also one of the most attractive offerings in this segment.
Hyundai has an array of powerful and efficient engines on offer with the venue-A frugal 1.2 litre petrol engine a powerful 1.0 liters turbo petrol, and for the diesel overs, a capable 1.5 liters oil burner.
The venue is loaded with smart feature like the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, apple car play & Android auto, blue link connected car Tech, air purifier, wirless charging, sunroof, and 60:40 split rear seat, amonge others
Cons:
The styling of the venue might not attract those looking for a bold, flashy SUV with a lot of chrome accents
While feature packed the cabin space inside the venue is not the best especially at the rear. It's a 4-seater SUV at best and taller occupants might not be very comfortable on long journeys.
No automatic diesel option on offer, all other subcompact SUV with a diesel engine come with automatic option, either an AMT or in the case of the sonet,a proper torque converter

Pros:
The kia sonet is a good-looking SUV, and its aggressive design and styling are also one of the reasons why customer are opting for this subcompact SUV. IN fact, in our opition, the sonet is the best-looking SUV in the sub-4-meter space.
The sonet also comes with a great choice of engine options-a 1.2 liters naturally aspirated petrol motor, a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5 liters diesel mill. Kia also offers 5 transmission choices with the sonet 5 speed MT,6-speed iMt,6-speed MT,7-speed DCT and 6-speed AT.
Kia also offers the sonet with its powerful 1.5 liters VGT diesel engine paired with a segment first 6 speed automatic torque converts it's one of the better drivetrain options to choose from while buying the sonet
Cons:
The cabin of the kia sonet is a bit cramped especially at the rear in fact we would say it is a 4-seater SUV becomes three average sized adults cannot really sit comfortably in the second row of sonet.
The sonet falls a bit short when it comes to handling and on corners and turns you will definitely feel a bit of body roll. The steering too can only be adjusted foe height but not for reach.
The sonet falls a bit short when it comes to handling and on corners and turns you will definitely feel a bit of body roll
Conclusion:
For the above all specifications, pros and cons of the all the four cars I would like to suggest the Hyundai Venus s plus to the Mr. D.S. Pugazhenthi and is family and Hyundai Venus preferred as its good engine performance compare to others Cars. Hyundai has low service cost and boot space was 350 liters and good mileage and comfortable 4-star rating but his wan 5-star rating car I would like to go for Tata nexon xms.
