AIM: To create the geometries from P1 to P2 using all the coordinates system methods using the Line tool and circle tool.

INTRODUCTION: Autocad offers 3 coordinate systems in which we can draw sketches. The following are the coordinate systems:

  1. Absolute coordinate system: Use of cartesian coordinate system where all the coordinates are with respect to the origin(0,0). Syntax: (1,2)
  2. Relative rectangular coordinate system: Coordinate system where the coordinates are with respect to the previous coordinate. Syntax: @1,2
  3. Polar coordinate system: this system includes coordinates whose length and angle are specified. Syntax:@2<90

Procedure:

  • Select Imperial system and decimal units.
  • Use the line command and enter the coordinates.
  • The coordinates for each sketch are as follows:
  1. P1:
    1. Absolute coordinate system:
      1. 2,1
      2. 8,1
      3. 8,2
