Bracket Designed by using Sheet Metal Design workbench in NX Cad Software

Objective: To Know How to design given part using NX CAD 

Introduction:  It is a typical sheetmetal part. used for clamping.

Design Methodology: 

Description: 

1. Draw a sketch as shown                                                                  
2. Draw another sketch on side plane as shown                                      
3. make contour flange from above sketch                                            
4. Then use normal cut out and Break corner                                        
5. unbend the part                                                                              
6. Draw a sketch                                                                                
7. make normal cutout                                                                        
8. Rebend the part                                                                              
9. use break corner                                                                             
10. use advanced flange command                                                        
11. unbend the sheet                                                                            
12. make holes as shown                                                                      
13. Draw an ellipse sketch as shown                                                      
14. make normal cutout as shown                                                         
15. Rebend the part                                                                              
16. make a flange using advanced flange command                                
17. make gussets at four places as shown
