SHEET METAL PART FOR ODD SHAPES

Objective:

Converting the Solid body to sheet metal using Siemens NX Sheet Metal Application.

Introduction:

Create a solid body then wrap the solid body with sheet metal then we have to add some features then unbend the sheet metal to add more feature then should rebend the unbent areas then we can get required sheet metal shape. Finally should creat flat Pattern for our sheet metal.

Design methodology:

Part: Solid body to Sheet metal body.

Tools Used: Direct Sketches.

Features: Extrude, SB Flange , SB Jog, SB Bead, Hole, Unbend, Rebend, Flat Pattern.
