Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_2_Box Assembly

BOX ASSEMBLY

OBJECTIVE : To Design and Assemble a box and its cover in sheetmetal using NX CAD sheetmetal features.

INTRODUCTION : NX CAD is an advanced industrial design and analysis software. It's sheetmetal feature is used in this project to design and assemble the parts of a Sheetmetal box using its basic and advance sheetmetal features.

DESIGN METHODOLOGY :

DESCRIPTION : The following features were used sequentially to complete the box assembly

- Sketch

- Tab

- Normal Cut out

- Bend

- Flange

- Hem

- Break Corner

- Unbend

- Mirror

- Dimple

- Bead

- Rebend

- Unite

- Flat Pattern

CONCLUSION : The design and Assembly has been completed using NX Sheetmetal successfully.
