1.Title of the Project: Designing Box Assembly with NX CAD

2. Objective: The main concept over here is designing Box assembly with Sheetmetal processes.

3. Introduction: Sheetmetal concept is the best phenomenon to manufacture any type of structural and non-structural components with high benefits despite few cons. To design box assembly in NX 10 we have two possibilities one doing design in solid modelling or else in Sheetmetal. I used to design Box in Sheetmetal module as it was having low complexity and high compatibility to design. Coming to manufacturing we have a lot of materials to do manufacturing regardless of cost. While designing few features were created based on prescribed master dimensions rest of all concept-based dimensions.

4.Design methodology/approach.

Distance from outer boundaries of the dimple to hole

Distance from hole to the outer edge of the flange.
