Underbody Coating

The underbody coating is most commonly used on cars in india and it is supplied by car companies with thickness of 3mm along on under part of the car. It means that where the bottom sheetmetal assembled region of the car is rubberized paint that forms of 2-3mm thick coating all along sparyed at the under side and even some rust-prevented coating is also applied for the under region of the cars to protect it from the rust and it would cost of 8k to coat once and it is not necessary for a brand new cars and this get de-coated only by speed breakers on the roads and other obstacles when it gets scraped hard at the the bottom surface and it wont peel off unless the scrap occurs nasty in the coated layer and without coated can also be rested in the cars unless it gets damaged harder and it can be recoated done by car paint shops

Procedure of underbody coating :

1. scrubbing and washing off the dirt
2. drying
3. cleaning with fat solvents
4. primer pre-coat
5. drying
6. rust preventive pre-coat
7. drying
8. silicone-polyrther 1st & 2nd coat
9. drying
