UNDERBODY COATING
UNDERBODY COATING
Underbody coating is a primary process which done into a BIW and thier is few step to be done before coating or paint process. Underbody coating provideS long term protection from the corrosion to the car's under body. It also protects parts like internal body\'s panels from rail and other cavities that are not physically accessible but are prone to corrosion.
process
STEP 1: ED BATH 1
The rail which are taking BIW into a ED bath with a certain angle, inclination angle duration of BIW which is in under water it depend upon weight of the material of the body and area of ED bath. And the angle rotates at which all the droplets gets out, and our intension is their should not be extra water droplet formed, it should be uniform throughout BIW.
STEP 2: HEATING CHAMBER
After getting finish with ed bath ,it goes to the heating chamber so that it can dry the BIW so that the next process of Ed bath can be done smoothly.
STEP 3: ED BATH 2
Again it takes to ed bath with a primary coating is to be done paint coating can spray all over the BIW.
STEP 4:
And in the last process BIW goes to paint shoot for the pain coating process ,it can automatic or semi-automatic. then after it goes to the inspection department for quality.
