Support Details used for Specimen

The Specimen was support two side where one side is fixed and where other side is stretched for 18 mm.

Mesh Metrics:

Mesh applied to the body with element size set as default with span angle center as medium with element metrics ranging from 0.40 – 1.00

which provides sufficient values for our results considering nodes and elements specified limit.

With Face Sizing with Sphere of influence with Sphere Radius 22mm and Element Size 3mm at both ends for considering for post processing

Referring to above results we can conclude following point:

Checking above results of the analysis under the dynamic condition of tensile stress with displacement of 18 mm subsequent values of Equivalent Stress,

Equivalent Elastic Strain, Temperature values as per the expectation. As per the Equivalent stress values which is higher than yield stress of the material due

to which plastic deformation of the material and fracture happens (as considering meshing size as per student license limit) with as ability of the material can

be found by modulus of resilience and modulus of toughness.

Case 2: Case Study on Specimen by Torsion Test:

Coordinate System:

Support Details used for Specimen

The Specimen was support two side where one side is fixed and where other side is torsion twisted by 1200 degree.

provides sufficient values for our results considering nodes and elements specified limit.

Referring to above results we can conclude following points:

Checking above results of the analysis under the dynamic condition of torsion strain with torsion of 1200 degree subsequent values of Equivalent Stress, Equivalent Elastic Strain,

Temperature values as per the expectation. The modulus of rigidity of material will tell failure of the specimen in torsion test, with Angle of twist of 1200 degree as shear stress

increases proportionally in material due to which specimen fractures as curve moves from elastic limit to plastic limit.
